The southernmost frontier of expedition kayaking. South Georgia, the Antarctic Peninsula, the Falklands.
Antarctic and subantarctic kayaking is the apex of the discipline. Cold so extreme it kills mistakes within minutes, weather windows measured in hours, leopard seals and katabatic winds, no rescue possible. Only a handful of paddlers have ever attempted this and almost all of them tell similar stories of fear, beauty, and a respect for the sea that you cannot fake.
